STONG
Services

Service
that keeps the
fleet in the field.

A surveying business loses money the moment an instrument leaves the project. We exist to make that downtime as short as possible.

Calibration laboratory
What we do

Four service lines, one promise: minimal downtime.

Each line is staffed by certified technicians and supported by a national logistics network. We measure ourselves by the productivity we return to your team.

01

Calibration laboratory

Our laboratory in Bucaramanga performs angular, distance and compensator calibration using a controlled environment, a granite reference bench and a 60-metre baseline. Every calibration is documented with serial number, technician signature and a digital certificate compatible with ISO 17123.

02

Preventive maintenance

Annual contracts that include cleaning of optics, lubrication of axes, firmware updates, battery health audits and a full calibration cycle. Customers on a preventive plan receive a loaner instrument when their unit is in for service.

03

On-site repair

Authorized technicians cover all 32 departments of Colombia. Critical service response within 48 hours, including remote diagnostics over secure connection when the instrument supports it.

04

Training & certification

Bilingual training programs for crews, supervisors and project managers. From first set-up to advanced workflows including resection, free-station, monitoring, RTK base configuration, and BIM-ready scanning.

A transparent five-step pipeline keeps you informed at every milestone of the service.

Frequently asked

Quick answers from our service desk.

How often should I calibrate my total station?

Annually for routine construction work, every six months for monitoring or first-order surveys, and after any shock event such as a fall or transport without proper case.

Do you ship a loaner during service?

Yes, for customers on a preventive plan. For one-off service we can rent a comparable instrument at a reduced rate during the service window.

Can you service brands you did not sell?

For most major brands, yes. We hold spare parts and calibration jigs for the instruments most common in the Colombian market.

Is the calibration certificate accepted by public entities?

Our certificates follow ISO 17123 methodology and are accepted by the major public works clients in Colombia. We can attend audits with the calibration logbook on request.
